Terms of sale

1. Seller

Hollow is sold by OBE Studio, trade name of Olivier BOURREL, sole trader (entrepreneur individuel, EI), SIRET 533 383 758 00034, 17 rue Bouquière, 33000 Bordeaux, France. Contact: support@hollowmac.com, +33 7 83 38 56 96. VAT not applicable, art. 293 B of the French tax code.

2. Product

Hollow is an app for macOS 14 Sonoma or later that turns the Mac's notch into an activity area. Its features are described on hollowmac.com. Two offers:

• Hollow: the notch, the layout editor, Duo mode, the neon, music and audio outputs, volume and brightness, battery and Bluetooth devices, calendar, weather, Focus, the lock screen, Slack and WhatsApp badges;
• Hollow Pro: everything in Hollow, plus the Claude Code and ChatGPT · Codex agents and the “agent waiting” neon.

Hollow is published by OBE Studio and is not affiliated with Apple, Anthropic or OpenAI. The agents assume that the customer uses these services themselves, under their own terms.

3. Free trial

Hollow can be tried for free for 7 days, with every feature unlocked, Hollow Pro included, without an account or a credit card. It is up to the customer to check during the trial that Hollow suits their Mac and their use. At the end of the trial, without a license, the notch stays empty until a purchase; the settings are kept.

• Upgrade from Hollow to Hollow Pro: €10, bought from the app on a Mac where a Hollow key is activated

Prices are in euros, all taxes included (VAT not applicable, art. 293 B of the French tax code). It is a one-time payment, not a subscription. The price that applies is the one shown on the payment page when ordering; promotion codes may apply to it.

5. Order and payment

Orders are placed on Stripe's payment page, opened from the website or the app. There the customer ticks the box accepting these terms and the immediate delivery of their key, thereby waiving the right of withdrawal (section 8), then pays by card or another method offered. Payment is processed by Stripe: OBE Studio never has access to card numbers. The order is final once the payment is accepted. Stripe sends the receipt and the invoice to the email address entered.

6. Delivery

The license key is delivered immediately after payment, on the confirmation page, with a button to activate it in Hollow. It may also be sent by email. The customer keeps it; if they lose it, support sends it again on request from the email address used for the payment.

7. License

OBE Studio grants the customer a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use Hollow, with no time limit. Hollow remains the property of OBE Studio.

• A key works on one Mac at a time. To change Mac, the customer deactivates it in Hollow › Settings › License: three changes per 30-day period, more on request to support.
• Updates are free until version 2.0. A later version may be paid; the versions already covered remain usable.
• Hollow checks the license with OBE Studio's server: an Internet connection is needed at least once every 30 days.
• Reselling, sharing or publishing a key, and any circumvention of the license check, are forbidden; a key used that way may be deactivated.

8. Right of withdrawal

Hollow is digital content supplied without a physical medium. Under article L221-28, 13° of the French consumer code, the 14-day right of withdrawal cannot be exercised once the key is delivered: the customer expressly agreed to immediate delivery and waived this right by ticking the box on the payment page. The 7-day free trial lets you test Hollow before buying.

9. Refunds

Any refund granted by OBE Studio, as a goodwill gesture or under the legal guarantees, deactivates the corresponding key. A payment dispute with the bank suspends the key until it is resolved.

10. Legal guarantees

The customer benefits from the legal guarantee of conformity of digital content (articles L224-25-12 and following of the French consumer code). In case of a defect, they write to support@hollowmac.com: OBE Studio brings Hollow into conformity; if that is not possible, the customer can obtain a price reduction or a refund.

11. Liability

Within the limits allowed by law, OBE Studio is not liable for damage caused by a use of Hollow contrary to its documentation, by a third-party service (macOS, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Slack, WhatsApp…) or by a cause beyond its control.

12. Personal data

The data processed for the order and the license is described in the privacy policy.

13. Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In case of difficulty, the customer first writes to support@hollowmac.com to seek an amicable solution. Failing that, the dispute may be brought before the competent court.

These terms may change: those in force on the day of the order apply.
